From LDS it looks like they married 27 DEC 1875 in Trefoldighet Menighet, Oslo, Akershus, but I have not been able to locate the original record...

The record for Trefoldighetskirken is #0 they were married in Norderhov church according to note. The record from Norderhov is at the bottom here Johan Andersen and his parents in 1865 and his baptismal record is #39

We've got all the records for most of Ole's siblings. We're still missing two children. One family history indicated they had twins. I've tried looking thru both Vang and Stange records between 1866-1885 but couldn't find any record. The family left Norway April 17, 1885. Ole was born 1866 Mathea (my great grandmother) 1868, 1st Chistian 1871 2nd Kristian 1872 Vang Olena 1874 Stange Andreas 1877 Martinus 1879 Karl 1882 Johan 1884 We've got the birth records also for all of Anders and Martha's parents. We've got the death records for Oliv Eriksdatter, Maria Christiansdatter and Christopher Tronsen, and Tron Tronsen.
The family lore was that in 1881 Ole came to Amerika with his Aunt Karen and John Anderson. He made enough money then to bring the rest of the family over in 1885.

Christopher Thronsens baptismal record is #133 parents Thron Tronsen and Mari Abrahamsdatter, Lindholteie. Maria Christiansdatters baptismal record is the top one here parents Christian Johansen and Marthe Pedersdatter, Hoelseie. Tron Tronsen and Marie Abrahamsdatter were married Nov 7 1817, see #29 Christian Johansen and Marthe Pedersdatter were married Oct 28 1814, see #12

quote: Also on the marriage record does that 25 refer to their age?
- yes it says 25 Aar. Tron Tronsen was on the farm Hogstad in Leuthen Præstegield (Løten parish) when they married. The Tron in Norderhov 1801 is not yours, this Thron is more likely the one. The Tron Tronsen who died in 1869 has the right age and is most likely your Tron although I don't see any relatives at Linholt where he died.

I was referring to Lindholt in 1865 Thron was then at Høxnæs - I think you can say that "most likely" is your Thron, but I did want to state some uncertancy.

Could someone translate Feb 26 1842 Tron the last record on the left hand page?
I'm particular interested in what it says about the father Trons Tronsen.
From the younger Tron's 2nd marriage Record #20, I know his father was also Tron Tronsen. |

As far as I can see it reads: 1792 Febr 26 Gunnor Andersdatter Jordbroen delivered a male child for baptism and it was named Torkild. Witnesses Berthe Haraldsdatter Jordbroen, Sophie Kolbuen, Hegvald Voldmoe, Anders Haraldsen Enge, Anders Johansen Kolbuen. Stated as the father Tron Tronsen Bierke. He denied being the childs father.
Some discrepancy regarding name in bapt record and 1801 census. I believe Throns first wife was Marie Abrahamsdatter - they married Nov 7 1817 in Vang. |
