I am trying to use the Emigrants List 1825-1875 to look for Even Thorsen born about 1830 and emigrated about 1861 to 1865.
The screen I get when trying to use the site is
"500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."
I wonder if anyone else is encountering the same problem |

| I got that message one or two days ago, and again today. Every time; it doesn't seem to matter which name is being typed. |

| I am having some issues in the tech end of the site after it had to be moved to another server a few days ago. I am trying to identify the reason, and hopefully I can get it working again soon. |

Something strange is going on with the main page has anyone else experienced this lately?
Instead of the main page, you get an advert page for something called "Plesk". |

Not seen Plesk but today I tried to use the Emigrants list and got
"404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable." |

Plesk is a pest.
It only comes up on my machine if I type in the address of www.norwayheritage.com or if I hit the main page button if I'm on the page. So I'm using the short cut through Firefox that takes me to this older message and then click All Forums instead of main page. |

| Someone found a way to delete files from the server. It should be working again now, till the next time someone wants to destroy something. :-( |

I still find it difficult to use the " Emigrants 1825-1875" section of this site. Do you have any comments on the problem.

| Yes, found anotther two files deleted. However, the search for passengers does not function for other reasons which I have not been able to fix. I'll have to hire a programmer to fix that. |

Fortunate you. I get this message on my MacBook Pro for Safari, Firefox and Chrome.

That's too bad as I find the Emigrants data base one of the really unique sources for finding when an emigrant might have left Norway and on what ship. Especially in the very early years
