I am trying to find out what happened to Julie Antonette Iversen
born in Glemmen in 1854 Source information: Østfold county, Glemmen, Parish register (official) nr. 7 (1853-1862), Birth and baptism records 1854, page 11. Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=376&idx_id=376&uid=ny&idx_side=-14 Permanent imagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20060330020014.jpg
she was confirmed October 1869 in Glemmen.
On family search I find a Julie Antonette Iversen and a Fritjof Johansen having 2 children in Olso child: Ivor Bjarne Johansen name: Ivor Bjarne Johansen gender: Male baptism/christening date: 26 Oct 1884 birth date: 02 Sep 1884 birth place: Oslo, Oslo, Norway father's name: Fritjof Johansen mother's name: Julie Antonette Iversen indexing project (batch) number: C42831-4 system origin: Norway-EASy source film number: 1282519
and
hild: Borghild Katrine Johansen name: Borghild Katrine Johansen gender: Female baptism/christening date: 28 Mar 1886 birth date: 29 Jan 1886 birth place: Oslo, Oslo, Norway father's name: Fritjof Johansen mother's name: Julie Antonette Iversen indexing project (batch) number: C42831-4 system origin: Norway-EASy source film number: 1282519
I do not know if this is the right Julie Antonette Iversen? I can not locate a marriage record for them or these birth records.
Any help in tracking this down will be appreciated! thanks

Ivor's birth record - the last column has some words and what looks like May 1884 - what does this mean? |

The marriage record is #26 - clue came from Ivor Bjarnes baptism record (far right column).
They were living at Grünersgate 9.

That is great! thanks so much now I know she is the right one. On the marriage record the column next to the year they were born has 2 dates, the top being the date they were confirmed but I am not sure what the second date is? Can you help translate that for me please. |

It is the date for the last communion, and where that was given.

thank you. trying to find info on Fritholf now. I see the parish where they were married did not exist for when he was confirmed or baptized. Is there an easier way to find it other than just scrolling thru each parish? |

trying to confirm who his mother is so I can put him in the right place in the 1875 census. We know from his marriage record his father is Martinius. |

Find the family in the 1865 census: Frithjof b 1859 Martiniuson or Johanson Find the family in the 1900 census: Frithjof b. 1859 who is married Find the family in the 1910 census
See if there is a baptism for Frithjof in the Norway Baptism database at www.familysearch.org
The 1875 census is not fully online so you may not find him in any case unless you run through microfilm after microfilm

Frittjof Johannesen in the 1865 census. His father Marthin (Martinius) Johannesen as in the marriage record. Frithjof and his parents and siblings in the 1875 census.
The confirmation record #46 tell that he was born June 16 1859, his mother is said to be Alette Larsdatter which does not fit with the 1865 census who say she was Mette Sofie.
The family in 1910 birth date confirmed.
Marriage record for Frithjofs parents is #241.
Fridthjofs baptismal record #178.

Trying to now work this family forward after the 1910 census. Is there a way to look at the 1910 census to see what parish church records to look at? Hoping to find marriage records of Borghild, Aagot, and Astrid.
Thank you! |

My question is actually how do you figure out the parish they attended from the census data so I can look up them and other people? Is there a way to see it on the census?
thanks |

The 1910 census refers to Johannes Parish. Whether you will find anyone from that family more recent in the same parish is doubtful, but you may try.

Thank you - where do you see the Parish in the census? I must be staring right at it and can not see it?
thanks |
