Abraham Andersson 1852 Jamtland, Ostersund
I am looking for information regarding the immigration of my Great grandfather and his family [wife and 8 children] from Sweden to Canada in the 1905? era - I have him in the 1890 census from Sweden with the children born to that date. My grandmother [Anna] is one of his children.
In particular I would like to see the ship they sailed on and the ports of departure and ariival. Passenger lists and other pertinent information.
My contact in Jamtland "REC" thinks they sailed from Norway because of the geography to where they lived.
I have a complete family tree of them dating back to the early 1700 in Sweden and Canada to the present family information.

Hi

They departed from Trondheim April 13th 1904 on the S/S Tasso of the Wilson Line to Hull in England. From Hull they traveled by train to Liverpool where they boarded a ship belonging to the Canadian Pacific Line for Canada with Percewall, Ass. as their final destination.

To Quebec, Montreal and St.Johns and by Canadian Pacific Railway to the final destination
Liverpool - Quebec - Montreal (summer)
Liverpool - St John, NB (winter)
