My husband's mother, Alvah Hovey Olson, was a great granddaughter of Even Amlund who came from the Gjovik area and the Bevolden farm. I would love to find out what his position was at the farm and if there are any relatives remaining in the area. We have the family tree from Even to his son Gustave, Gustaves family including Martha Amlund, my husbands grandmother and then his mother Alvah traced.
Below is the info we have. Not sure it is correct.
Even was born March 2, 1823 and died 1906 in Norway. His parents were Gudmund Engebretsen Bevolden and Anne Oldsdatter both born 1786? Their marriage was November 4, 1813. Gudmund's parents were Embret gudmundsen and Elie Nielsdatter, no birth or death dates.
Thanks for any help.

Hi.
I believe Bevolden farm is not in the Gjøvik area in Oppland County but across the lake Mjøsa in former Nes parish in Ringsaker municipality (Nes merged with Ringsaker 1964.

Even Gudmunsen Amlund was a widower already in 1865, living in Gjøvik as logder and mechanic.
It seems to be the same house where he was partowner in 1875, seehere
