Hi

It must be this Jenny Sofie who was burried in Vestre Fredrikstad. (FamilySearch writes death place Oslo, but this film-no also covers Vestre Fredrikstad.)
She was born May 17, 1886 as a child of Ole Peter Johanssen who was a "Sagarbeider" (sawmill worker).

Hi

Hjørdis is not the daughter of Ole and Dina. She is their granddaughter.

Hjørdis Elevine Margrethe was baptized in Kampen Sept 29, 1901 and is the daughter of Dagmar Antonie.

Something's gotta give...

Jenny Sofie's funeral record gives her birthdate as 17 May [18]86 and Aagot Marie is born 8 Dec 1886, creates a time difficulty unless Aagot Marie is exceedingly premature or Jenny Sofie belongs to another family....

This gets more interesting all the time. I think that I will go with Jenny Sofie belonged to another family. But what i did not know was that Hjordis was Dagmar's daughter. Thats a shock. But not unbelievable since she was pregnant with my grandmother when she got married to my great grandfather. More stuff to fuel the searches. Thanks so much.

Vivi,

This record you sent. Can you read the far right column. I can't make it out. My mother says my great grandmother Dagmar was raped. Does this colum reflect that. Thanks

The far right column is for info about who performed the baptism at home or in case of an "uægte" child, who gave the info.

In this case it is written
"Anmeldt af Dina Johannesen. 1ste Gangs Leiermaal"
i.e. Dagmar Antonies mother gave the info about Dagmars first birth of the "uægte" child
.

Hi

This is her probate and it doesn't tell cause of death.

Dina died March 1, 1927 and I believe she would have been burried from Kampen church. Unfortunately the Kampen church-book with 1927 burials has not been published yet.

The probate gives this information:
First column is about thedeceased :
"Mrs. Dina Margrethe 73 years old, died March 1, 1927 in Ensjøveien 1."
Second column is about those left behind:
"Husband master carpenter Ole Petter Johansen, same address as deceased and 5 children. Not separate property."
Third column is about who reported the death:
"Reported by her children: Aagot Johansen; Østre Aker and Einar Johansen, Tøiengt. 50."
