Julius (son of August Johannessen) was born 30 Nov 1858 in Nøtterøy, Vestfold, Norway. His birth/baptismal record is shown as #114 on page 169 of the church book -
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8220&idx_id=8220&uid=ny&idx_side=-170

Good information about translating the formats of Norwegian parish church records during various time periods, many of the basic terms used and understanding how to use the information should be studied at this web site -

Sparødningen is a place of residence ( a farm). SEE Kåre's note below.

1865 census again: link

Click on the number (K.nr.) 003 beside "Thorød" near bottom left to see a list of farms in the census district. Here is the list that appears. "Sparrydningen" is probably the same as Sparødningen alternate spelling: link

Click on 0159 to find Johannes Johannesen at Sparrydningen. His marital status is "e" = enke = widower. His occupation is "Fisker and Bødker." He is listed as being the wife's father (Inger's father).
link

Death record 27 September 1880, August Johannesen, matros, residence Sparødningen in Nøtterøy, Vestfold:link

Matros = a seaman job title / sailor
Fisker = fisherman
Bødker = cooper (according to Gramtrans, free online translator

In the 1835 birth-baptism record for August, August's father is "matros Johannes Johannesen, Sparødningen" = sailor Johannes Johannesen, living at Sparødningen.

Parents of Johannes weren't married when he was born, as was said. The father, Johannes Abrahamsen of Oslo was also a matros.

Here is daughter Sofie getting married to a man from Sverige (Sweden). Residence of her father Johannes Johannesen is listed in far right column:link

A little more about Sparødningen here (spelled Sparrønningen): link

The text on the link above talks about Hans Jenssen coming to the neighborhood and marrying the mother of Johannes Johannesen, Anne Sophia Evensdatter. Here again is the previously posted 1801 census,
1801:
link

At bottom left of the 1801 census we find the place name Kjøløe Østre. As I understand it, Sparødningen was within it... BUT SEE Kåre's NOTE.

By using an alternate spelling on Google, I now found this family tree: tree

1801 census, Johannes Abrahamsenlink

Perhaps forum contributors can explain more about all this, if you're interested.
