I am trying to find the church record for the death of Jens Johannessen. He was born in Oct 1799 to Johannes Sjursen and Gjertrud Nilsdatter according to the Sogndal Bygdebok. It says he died at Hundere in 1801. Hope someone can take a look at this for me. Thanks

The child is listed in the 1801 census for Sogndal, Sogn og Fjordane on the farm Hundere of that district.

That should probably limit his death to after 1 Feb 1801.

Which pages have you already checked?

His death record is on the link that Hopkins gave you. See the column for names of the dead persons, you see 1 Johannes and 2 Jens (which is your Jens) He was burried (Kastet Jord paa) Dec 1 1801 in Stedje church.
Jens Johannesen, Hundere was 2 years and 7 weeks when he died.

Einar
