Passengers on the 3rd class promenade deck


Picture of the month - April 2006 -

This picture shows passengers on the promenade deck of a Scandinavian American Line steamship. It is a rare scene, and we have not been able to find many images with motives like this. We would like to extend the image gallery with more motives from the daily life aboard the emigrant ships, and call on our friends and visitors to the web site to help by submitting images.
