The "Bohemia" was constructed with a straight stem, one funnel, and two
masts (rigged for sail). She was an iron construction, with a single screw and a service speed
of 12 knots. There was a accommodation for 100-1st and 1,200-3rd class
passengers. On 16th March 1892 she started a single round voyage from Hamburg to New York and Baltimore and on 17th May 1893 commenced sailings from Stettin to Helsingborg, Gothenburg,
Christiansand, and New York. Her last Hamburg - New York crossing commenced
on 2nd April 1897 and on 11th June 1897 she started Hamburg - Philadelphia -
Baltimore voyages. |
