The S/S Cedric was the sister ship of the S/S Baltic and S/S Celtic. Tonnage: 21,085 tons gross, 17,101 under deck and 13,520 net. Dimensions: length 680.9 ft x 75.3 ft. beam and holds 44.1 ft. deep, poop 150 feet long and bridge deck 334 feet. Forecastle of 105 feet. She had twin screws, 4 masts, two funnels, 4 decks & shade deck. She had quadruple expansion engines with 8 cylinders of 33, 47½, 68½ & 98 inches diameter each pair and stroke 63 inches. The engines delivered 1,524 nominal horsepower which gave the ship a speed of 16 knots. There was accommodation for 365 passengers on first class, 160 passenger on 2nd. class and 2352 3rd. class passengers (steerage). Call sign: TSVB. Official registration #: 115354.
