In 1864 the Fido departed from Bergen on Apr. 30th, and arrived at Quebec June 17th. She was carrying about 300 passengers. Because the National Archives of Canada [NAC] did not start the archiving of passenger lists before 1865, and the Norwegian emigration records did not start before 1867, there is no surviving passenger list for this voyage in any of those archives. Timeline to records. In 1866 the bark Fido departed from Bergen Apr. 25, and arrived at Quebec June 9. She was sailing in ballast, and was carrying 372 steerage passengers. Two children died of debility on the voyage. There were three births, one still born. She was mastered by Capt. N. E. Bertholsen and had a crew of 15. Her tonnage was 314½ Norwegian Commercial lasts. The passenger list has been microfilmed by NAC and the LDS.
