The Fjerde November was built 1865 in Porsgrunn. Tonnage
was 274 Norwegian Commercial lasts (554 tons). She was mastered by Capt. J. H. Ludvigsen 1867, -69 B. H. Johannesen, -71 A. Sørensen, -72 H. B. Johannesen. Owner was L. Ludvigsen in Skien. She sailed from Christiania with 326 passengers in 1868. She is simply described as a "Frigate Ship" and the Master was Captain Johannesen. The passage was 15 Speciedaler for adults,
and for children 8 - 6 Spd. On the 1866 voyage she was mastered by Ludvigsen. Ninety souls, (a portion of the destitute poor), from the Norwegian ship Ifferde November (Fjerde November), which arrived on the 16th August, were, at the instigation of the Honorable Solicitor General for the Province of Quebec, sent on at the expense of the ship-owner to the Eastern Townships. A few of these people also left for the Western States, but most of them settled in the Townships, and appear to be satisfied with their prospects. Agents: Blichfeldt, Knoph & Co, Christiania and M.
