Built in 1914 at Kaldnes Mekaniske Verksted in Tønsberg as the "Erik Ask" later renamed "Union V". Bought by NAL and renamed "Idefjord" in 1919. She was the first motor vessel in the NAL fleet having a single action oil engine built by Kromhaut Motor Fab. in Amsterdam. Dimensions: Quarter Deck 5 tons; House on deck 6 tons. Rigging: steel single screw Sloop; 1 deck; Tonnage: 147 tons gross, 128 under deck and 80 net. Master: Captain T. Svendsen, appointed to the ship in 1919. Call sign: MKHB
