The "Kong Sverre" was an iron construction with straight stem, one funnel, two masts, , single screw and a service speed of 10 knots. She had 5 bulkheads and 3 decks. The engines produced 300 HP, and were delivered by T.Richardson & Sons, Hartlepool. There was accommodation for 35-1st, 40-2nd and 650-3rd class passengers.
