This French Line steamship was built in 1896 by Robert Napier & Sons at Glasgow for the Royal Mail Line as the "Ebro". Purchased by Swan, Peterson & Co in 1903 and renamed "Quebec". Purchased by C.G.T. in 1905 and made 1 trip between Le Havre and New York in March that year. In 1917 she was mined and sunk in the estuary of the Gironde by the German submarine UC-21. 4 lives lost.
