Her tonnage was 12,482 tons gross, 11,178 under deck and 8,097 net. She had one funnel, four masts and 3 decks. She was fitted with refrigerating machinery and had water ballast. She had twin screws and quadruple expansion engines with 8 cylinders of 22, 31 1/2, 46 and 67 inches diameter each pair and stroke 51 inches. The engine delivered 641 nominal horsepower which gave the ship a speed of 14 knots. There was passenger accommodation for 400-cabin class.
