Details: 1132 gross ton, 839 under deck and 724 net. Poop 150 feet long and forecastle 27 feet long. She had one funnel, two masts and single screw. She was fitted with refrigeration machinery. Propulsion: triple expansion engine with 3 cylinders of 18, 31 & 52 inches diameter respectively; stroke 36 inches; 162 nominal horsepower; engine built by Muir & Houston Ltd. in Glasgow. There was passenger accommodation for 12-1st class and 203-steerage when built. This was later altered to 12-1st, 20-2nd and 132-steerage class passengers.
