Kristoffer Olesen Helland (B) Mar 3, 1874, Vestnes, Norway
(D) Aug 6, 1954, CA. Left Norway April 1890 for Kathryn, North Dakota and to Ardill, Saskatchewan, Canada in April 1910.

There is a Chrs. Olsen, age 16, arriving in New York Harbor on May 8, 1890 from Christiania aboard the ship Island. 410 passengers total.
There is information and a picture of this ship on this site. In 1890, third class passengers would have been processed for immigration into the United States at Castle Garden. |
