Nils was born in Onso Oct 1854 and came to South Australia about 1885. I am searching for his emigration information - ship, arrival date.
He is listed on Norway 1865 and 1875 Census - in 1885 listed as seaman.

Here is his profile in s Fredrikstad sailors' roll. The last entry is from 1891, unfortunately hard to decipher. There is also something about jumping ship (rømt) in Dublin in 1879.

Nils Petter Emil Kristiansen applied for citizenship in Australia in 1892 and stated he had been living in South Australia for 7 years so his arrival must be around 1885.
