As you know, there have been challenges related to the technical setup here at Norway Heritage. I’ve been working for several months to find solutions and update the site. A number of updates have been made recently, including improvements to the search function. I'm pleased to share with those of you who have been waiting to search the emigrant database that I have now found a solution that makes the search function work again. Site update: I have now updated and rewritten all the code for the search functionality in the passenger lists database, and also added search for the Ulvestad database. The layout is also being updated. I've made quite a few changes and would appreciate any feedback or suggestions for further improvements. This upgrade will hopefully be robust and ensure stable operation for a good while moving forward, until the full site conversion.
