Hi Lori Ammund Knudsen Glimme left from Bergen 1875 and 1887
He listed his residence as America both times so he made at least one trip previously.
This is most likely him on the Glimme farm in Voss in the 1865 census
Voss has quite a few records on line at the Digitalarkivet that you can search and maybe find more information Click here

Hi Lori,
searching the Norwegian 1865-census, there is nobody by the Lastname of Glimme.
But there is a farm called Glimme, in Voss parish, Hordaland county.
And on that farm, there is a son called Ammund !

This Ammund is born ca. 1850 (+- 1 year), and his Lastname in the census is Knudsen, which mean "Son of Knud". His father Knud Rognaldsen owns the farm.

The closest emigration port for people in the Voss area was Bergen.

And here is his emigration records!
His profession is carpenter, and according to the 1875-emigration, it looks like he have been in America since 1871, which could indicate that the 1875-trip is a trip back home.

Both dates are emigration dates from Bergen, Norway. He must have arrived in America approx. two weeks later.
