How would I find the farm name for Gunder Gundersen? In the 1865 census they were in the Avaldsnes parish.

It would have heøped if you gave a little more information - as there are four Gunder Gundersens in Avaldsnes in the 1865 cencus: a father aged 44 on Kobbervig farm, and three sons aged 25 on Kolletræ, aged 14 on Gamlehavn and aged 9 on Bygnæs.

Could one of them be yours?
