I am looking for information on Alice T. Skilbeck who made this trip in 1896. to set up a museum in Fvedt or Dimmelsvik.

Mike, do you have any more information that might help identifying Alice, like when and where she was born, names of other family members and so on?

I think that this is the lady that made that voyage on board ss mercur in may 1896 although after trying i can't seem to find any information on the ship S.S.Mercur.

I have an extract from her diary from 1896 May 2nd-11th in which she describes the voyage to Bergen which took about 2 days also her time in Norway where she is helping to set up a museum??
