Ffor the feeder S/S Pacific journey 1880-05-11 Trondheim - Hull, what would be the Corresponding ship(s)? I've seen the list of corresponding ships for this voyage, but not sure which one(s) might apply. Thanks again for all the help and info from this great resource! |

Here is the Corresponding ships for the S/S Pacific journey 1880-05-11 Trondheim - Hull. I assume it could be any of those ships..., most likely the port was Liverpool. Maybe S/S Bothnia (1) from the Cunard Line ... ?

Thank you, Jan. I rather thought Liverpool likely, but appreciate the confirmation. Also your thought about the Bothnia - I was not sure how much after May 11 would be likely. Thanks again. |

If you know the name of the agent or line from the Norwegian emigration records, it will be easy to narrow down the search! |

Ok, if they were listed on the Allan Line you can narrow your search down to 3 ships listed in the index of corresponding ships:
S/S Sardinian, Allan Line from Liverpool, arrived to Quebec 1880-05-21 S/S Peruvian, Allan Line from Liverpool, arrived to Quebec 1880-05-31 S/S Polynesian, Allan Line from Liverpool, arrived to Quebec 1880-06-06
The S/S Peruvian being the most likeliy one, but you should check the passenger lists. |

I see now, thanks for your help, and patience! It looks like I will have to look into microfilm from Canadian sources or perhaps LDS, as suggested in your Hunting Passenger Lists article - if I'm correct, however, in not finding any passenger list for these three voyages. Thanks again very much! |
