Grandfathers brother Casper Olsen b. 1876, left Norway in april 1902 with the ship "Salmo". He went to Seatle. Can anyone tell me where to look for him or his family?

This is a long shot, but a Casper Olson is filing for a land patent in 1904 (and 1906) in North Dakota:

Hi Elsa,
Are you looking for your Casper in Norway? Or America? It is not clear from your post.

Hi Elsa,
I apolojize, I should have seen you were from Norway. I would be happy to check the census for you and see what I can find. What farm did he live on? They often used that for a surname here. Where did he leave Norway from? Where did he live in Norway? The more information you give, the more it helps me help you.

Hello Margit
Thank you for answering me. Kasper Olsen (Casper Olsen) went to Seattle, in 1906 he was still there, he sent a postcard to his relatives in Norway. I am not sure, but I think he was working as a fisherman or at sea. I dont thik he had a family, but I am not sure of that either. If you now where to start looking in Seattle i would be very greatfull.
Hilsen elsa

Margit!
Kasper Olsen (Casper Olson) was born 10. of march 1876. He lived in Hemne, Sør-Trøndelag. He left from Trondeim in april 1902 for Hull or Liverpool and then to Seattle. He also had a brother who went to Victoria in Canada in 1898, but he returned to Norway later. May this might helpyou, I hope so.
