I am looking for details of my great grandfather - Henry (maybe Henrik) Thomson (T*****n). He arrived in Australia in Melbourne in 1890 in the ship Henry Buck from San Francisco. He was probably a seaman.
He was originally from Tonsberg in Norway
He was born Tonsberg/Horten in Noway 1867/1868. Can some one help me find who his parents were. |

| Hello down under! Couldn't find him in the usual Internet sources, he was born just after a census and emigrated before the next. But suggest you contact the Vestfold Family History Society as both Tønsberg and Horten are in Vestfold county. The Internett address is <www.vestfoldslektshistorielag.com> but they don't seem to have an English version yet. One of their contacts in Tønsberg is <lisep@online.no>. Good luck!
