Yes, problems have been evident in the English version. Try using the Norwegian version instead - those links seem to be working fine. Hopefully you've used it enough to get familiar with the terminology in Norwegian.

Hi,
which link are you using, that are not working?

They've been doing some testing over the last weeks which have disturbed the performance, but everything should be up and running now.

Try this link: digitalarkivet.uib.no

A number of the links necessary to effectively use the Digitalarkivet from the English entry point - http://129.177.171.80/cgi-win/WebFront.exe?slag=vis&tekst=meldingar&spraak=e
are still not working properly.
For example, from the home page (which shows up just fine) offered at the English version URL above, if one clicks on the link for 'Categories' - an error is the only response. Use the Norwegian version and take the same journey - it works just fine.
I've had to use the Norwegian language home page for well over a week or more to be able to burrow deeper into the best databases available there.

My great grandfather was Andreas Olsen, born Aug. 28, 1841 in Oslo, Norway and was married to Anna Magneta Andersrdatter Feb. 16, 1871 in Lier, Baskerud, Norway. One of their children was Marthe Marie Andreasen Born Feb. 18, 1872 in Ostre Aker, Norway. My grandmother was the sister to Marthe.
I don't know if this helps. Please let me know.

I've been having problems, too. I found that if I replaced the prefix http://129.177.171.80/ with http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/ it worked OK.

Also, it could be a firewall problem (?). If you are using a firewall and select Digitalarkivet as a trusted site, that could help.
