I have search the NY and Quebec passenger lists for ships that departed from Kristania, Skein, and Porgrunn and have not found Adolph Wattner. Is there another small port near these other three that he could have left from in 1869? I have checked the Glascow, Liverpool, and Denmark and Germany's ports for NY only and soon will start for Quebec. Thank you

Have you checked the 1825-1925 Index of Departures on this site for 1869? It lists other ports.
