We have an historic model of a ship with the word "Norkap" inscribed on its side. I am assuming it was based in Norway, but cannot find any information. On the list "Emigrant Ships from Norway" there is one listed as "Nordcap" and the date 1867. Is this the same ship as our model of the "Norkap"?

It would help if you included some more information about this ship, what type of ship it was and any other details about it. Maybe even a picture.
