Hello!

I am trying to locate a place.

in 1920 Richar Melby and his family lived at
515 Stanford, the restaurant at 419 So Main. in Los Angeles. At the time, it was a restaurant.

Is there a restaurant there today?

In 1930, they are locatede at
r411 S. Humphrey av. in the same city. and b411 S. Humphrey av.

Where, and what is this?

The adresses are taken from the LA city directory.
In front of the adress, Richard O, has a title called "lab" Does anyone know what this stand for?

This subject has been addressed in your posting -http://www.norwayheritage.com/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1360

Double posting just confuses the issue and causes unnecesary research.

Recommend you post on a Los Angeles based list. You can check out the locations of addresses on Yahoo or other map based sites. Lab probably meant Laborer.

Hello Jo Anne..
I so sorry that this is to be regarded as a double posting. I thought I should break this question out of my original posting, because this issue was about where the adresses were.

But since you point this out, I do appologise, and maybe it is best that this topic should be deleted, so that it wont be followed up here.

Again, I am sorry.
