I inherited a Steamer Trunk from my Mom. We always assumed that it was her grandmothers. The shipping tags are still on it. It came from Bergen 3rd Clas on the Kristianiafjord. But my G. Grandmother is registered at Ellis Island as coming on the Carmania. The Tags has a Passenger number on it. Is there a way to find the Manifest from this ship so we can identify who the trunk really belonged to originally.
Thanks for your help

You don't give any dates but there is information on this site regarding the Carmania and Kristianiafjord.. The Kristianiafjord (1) made transatlantic voyages from 1913-1917. The passenger list microfilms for these years can be rented at a local family history center, www.familysearch.org.
