I am writing an illustrated history of my pioneer ancestors, who immigrated from the Eidsberg area of Ostfold in 1871. I would like to include pictures of the rural countryside in the Glomma Valley near Eidsberg. I have searched the web but have not found what I am looking for. It would be wonderful to find pictures from their era, but I will settle for any representative scenes. If anyone can help with this, I would be most appreciative.

Here is a site for Ostfold information and a link (#7) to purchasing photos of farms. Rootsweb has a Ostfold mailing list that might help in your search.
