I am searching for the names on the passenger list for the liner carmania
for a voyage to new york sometime during 1907. The names I am looking for are may late grandparents and aunt.
Their names are abraham asher ( or ascher ) , minnie asher and miriam asher

Hello Asher,
These names sound more Hebrew than Norwegian. Where is Norway did they come from? You can do a search of the Ellis Island Database. I find the best site for entry into the Ellis Island site is Steve Morse's "Ellis Island in One Step" website http://home.pacbell.net/spmorse/ellis/ellis.html
Good Luck! (hint: type the ship name in lower case, not CAPS)
