I guess that must be Emil Gustavson and his wife Christina?

He was listed to go with the Wilson Line ship "Volo" from Trondhjem to Hull in England. He had signed up contract with the Allan Line (from my great-great-grandfather), and would proceed from England on one of the Allan Line ships.

The authorization and routes were as follows:

Via Hull to Liverpool and from there to New York or Boston, and to Quebec or Montreal
Via Hull and Liverpool, Glasgow and Newcastle and from there by steamships to America, China, Japan and Australia;
Glasgow - Boston - New York
Glasgow - Montevideo - Buenos Aires
Glasgow - Philadelphia
Glasgow - Portland - New York
Glasgow - St Johns - Quebec - Montreal
Liverpool - Quebec - Montreal
Liverpool - Queenstown - Halifax - Norfolk - Baltimore
London - Montevideo - Buenos Aires
London - New York
London - Quebec - Montreal

This means he would travel from Hull to Liverpool or Glasgow by train, and board a ship in one of those ports. I hope this helps?
