looking for any information on Karl Johan Andersen and Charlotte father and mother of Omar, Charlotte and Ester, the family immirgrated to australia between 1910 and 1920. Karl was part of the founding members of the Sydney fish markets as K Andersen and Son. They came from the town of Fredrickshald which is now called Haldon( or was renamed in 1924) I have post cards with pictures of Fredrickshald. Can any one help with birth records ( I can't read or speak norwegian)

It would help if you could give the approximate ages of these people.

If you are going to get into Norwegian records, you need to be able to kind-of deciper them, here is an excellent dictionary to use

Omar's parents were both from Sweden. The family is living in Fredrickshald at the time of the 1900 Norwegian census -
