Hi Børge,
there looks to be some errors related to the search engine Forum Search.
If you for instance search only on userID, you will prob. get many hits for an active user.
But; you can only view the first page of hits. Using the "Page drop-down button" does not get you to the second page of hits, it only comes back with the first page again.

Thanks for reporting the error. The problem now is that I can't reproduce that error. If I search for all topics in all forums containing "a" and where I did a posting (my userID "Borge") I get many hits, and many pages, and I can navigate the pages through the drop-down menue without any problems. What browser did you use when the error occured? |

Search Forum: All Forums
Search In: Entire Message
Search By Date: Any Date
Search By Member: jwiborg
Browser:
Internet Explorer, Version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158
Cipher Strength: 128-bit
Update version; SP2
OS: Win XP Pro incl. SP2
I also tried to disable Norton Internet Security Professional and Norton Antivirus Autoprotect, but without any success. I can (still) only see my first page (15 postings) out of 15 pages... how can I view the other 14 pages? Am I doing anything wrong?  It's been a while since my last visit... 
This is the list of postings I get, all from the same Forum "PASSENGER LISTS AND EMIGRANTS / Hunting Passenger Lists". Navigating the pages through the drop-down menue returns the same 15 topics whatever number I select...

| Ok, now I was able to reproduce the error, the search engine gets a problem returning treaded lists of hits when you do not enter any keywords in the "Search For" field. If I enter just the letter "e" in that field, the error does not occur. If you want a list of all topics you have posted to without specifying a keyword you can go to your profile and the click the link: Find all non-archived posts by jwiborg. I don't know why the error occurs from the Forum Search, but the reason must be related to the missing keyword. |
