I am sure that this is the wrong Forum for my search. But it seems to be the only Forum in "Statsarkivet" with questions and answers.
I am in search for my vife´s great grandmother. She was an emigrant -but eastward. She was born 1889 i Fredrikshald, married to a swede, lived for several yers in Ids forsamling in Norway, moved to Kungälv in Sweden. The family moved 1885 to Carelia in eastern Finland. I know allmost everything about her exept for her background.
My problems an questions are. Where do I start looking? To whom may I write ? -And apologies for my English and the spelling, I havent used written English since 1970

You may write in Norwegian, Swedish or English
Give all informations you have got, and tell what you are looking for, - ancestors, descendents or whatever.
Something is odd here, - born 1889, moving 1885? And no name?
