My great grandfather, Rolf Eriksen Lund (b Dec 12, 1837) from Horg, Norway left Trondheim, Norway in 1867 on the ship Florence. He came to America heading for La Crosse, WI. He filed for US citizen ship at Fillmore County, MN on October 26, 1868. He married Caroline Stokke who might have come over on the same ship. I am trying to locate the ship that he came to America on and what port he arrived at. I would also like to find out when Caroline Stokke came to America and if it was on the same ship as Rolf Lund. All assistance is appreciated.

Hello Al

Your great-grandfather traveled on an Allan Line ship, most likely to Quebec. Look for an Allan Line arrival to Quebec about 3-4 weeks after departure from Norway.
