how do I find this on a map.

You must mean Bærum. Looking it up in the Place search of the LDS library catalog online indicates that it is located in Akershus county/province of Norway. That means it would be very close to the city of Olso/Kristiania.

Hi,

as I said in your other topic about Hans Olsen, Bærum is just west of Oslo.
