I just sent a request for clarification on the "Salmo" and the owner of same. Is it possible to tell me what U.S. port Kristian Olaus Ols. arrived at in March/April of 1911?

Thanks again.

On the Emigrants from Trondheim database, Kristian contracted with the Allan Line but that was only for the Salmo feeder part of the journey. On this site, in 1911 the Salmo had a route to Grimsby, England. That is just south of Hull across the River Humber and had rail connections to Liverpool.

I have not been able to find Kristian Olsen in the New York Ellis Island database or in any of my other resources. He may be there but I couldn't find him. He might have arrived through Canada in which case you can rent the passenger list from a local Family History Center.

One possibility, did he have a farm name that he might have also used?
