Hello I am new here, and I need help! It seems I have hit a major road block looking up information on my fathers fathers side of the tree. here is what I have so far. GF Hatheway Olaf Johnson born in Saint John county of St. John NB on Oct 16.1903 Father James W Johnson born 1884 unknown where Mother Violet Loretta Johnson (Gay after she remarried) unknow birth It is said that Grampy has a brother Cecil older than him. The family is really sketchy on details, it is said that James was a labourer on ships. I do know that the family did come from Christina (now Olso) That is as far as I can get, cannot find any info on either side of the family after that. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction, or suggest a book for me to purchase on the emigration history. any help would be great, feel free to send me direct email if you want to brazeaut@sympatico.ca
