We are seeking information on Lars Herbranson who came to America in 1854. He was accompanied by his wife Christe and a number of children. The only information we have was that he came from the Hallingdal area. On arrival in the United States, the family settled on land in Fillmore County, Minnesota.

Hi,
do you have any approximate date of birth for Lars? Or any name of the children?

We have no birth date for Lars. He died in 1863 in Fillmore County, Minnesota. The only two children we have information on are Lars H. Larson, born May 2, 1853 near Christiana, Norway and died Mrch 22, 1910, Hillsboro, ND, and Ole H. Larson, born February 25, 1855 in Hallingdal (?), Norway, and died August 6, 1933 in McVille, ND.

He came to America in 1854, and had a son born in Norway in 1855? Did he leave wife and children behind?

You say in your first post that "he was accompanied by his wife Christe and a number of children"...
