In an Ahnentafel of Gesine Gabrielsdtr Evertsen Brekne it states: Inger PEDERSDTR Heskestad was born at Heskestad, Rogaland, Norway. She was also known as Ingrid. She married Ingvar TORESEN Øvstefjelse. She married Tolleiv TOLLAKSEN Ualand , son of Tollak KNUTSEN Ualand. She died before 1645 at Øvstefjelse Br.1., Nes, Vest Agder, Norway. She Enke etter Tolleiv Tollaksen Ualand, hun var i slekt med hans 1. kone i 1. og 4. ledd, han måtte derfor bøte med 60 Rdl.

Does the Norwegian in the last sentence translate to: She was a widow after Tolleiv Tallaksen Ualand, she was in a family with 1 wife in 1 and 4 relatives, he must therefore have left an estate with 60 riksdaler.

I am having problems putting it together in a way that makes complete sense.

Thank you.

Hi,
Inger Pedersdtr Heskestad married Ingvar Toresen Øvstefjelse.

"She" (Inger Pedersdtr Heskestad) married Tolleiv Tollaksen Ualand.

"She" (Inger Pedersdtr Heskestad) died before 1645.

She Enke etter Tolleiv Tollaksen Ualand, hun var i slekt med hans 1. kone i 1. og 4. ledd, han måtte derfor bøte med 60 Rdl.
She (Inger Pedersdtr Heskestad), widow after Tolleiv Tollaksen Ualand, she was related to his first wife in 1st and 4th generation, thus he had to pay 60 Riksdaler.

It looks like Inger was related to Tolleiv's first wife, and thus when Tolleiv married Inger, he was given a fine for that, he had to pay 60 Riksdaler in sagefall...!
