I hope someone can help me know where to find more info. on this family. They came from Flesberg, Buskerud, Norway on the ship Emilie in 1841. The name of the town or area Muskego comes up...and they all are buried in the Baker Cemetery in Leland, Illinois.

Hello BesEsc

It might help if you could be more specific about what kinds of information you are looking for.

I've been at a loss as to where to find any information about them of their life in Norway and Illinois... and I need to make family group sheets. I have very few. Herleik Kristoffersen Forlie is the father of Christopher Helliksen Forlie (b. 4 May 1794 in Flesberg). I only have Herleik's name.
Herleik Elvindsen Solheim is the father of Christopher's wife, Gundbjorg Helliksdatter Solheim (b. 30 may 1802). I only have his name and her information is sparce. I recently moved to Utah from S Florida, and don't know where to find this information, although I've made a few attempts. Any suggestions?

Did you find Kristopher Hellichsen in the 1801 census? He and his family were living in Rolloug, Buskerud, on the Berseid farm.

This might be Gundbjørgs family:

Thanks so much for helping me find this. I'll check more of the census's to assist in filling family group sheets...Do you know of any source I can use to find out more about Flesberg and their lifestyle?
