MUNNICH - Norwegian Emigrees into USA
I am searching for descendants of two Norwegians who immigrated into the USA:
1. Herman Wilhelm MUNNICH
Born 20 Oct 1887 in Sweden,
emigrated from Kristiana, Norway to USA 16 Feb 1906 on M/S Montebello bound for Boston MA.
Possible Occupation: Travelling Salesman.
Old postcards exist mailed from Blanca Colorado and from Alamosa, Colorado in 1912.
2. An older brother
Knut (Canute) MUNNICH
born 12 Jan 1877
(who, in 1906 was already in the USA).
Enlisted US Navy 14 Mar 1898.
Served 3 years as ordinary seaman in the Spanish-American War in Manilla Bay.
Worked in the Merchant Navy and became Captain.
Died 23 Sep 1938 at Barnert Memorial Hospital, Paterson, New Jersey .
I would love to have your guidance as to how and where I can search for possible relatives of these two men.
