I am doing my husbands family and would like any information of his grandparents and others. The names are Hilda Louisa Borresen, Born 1881 in Christiana, her mother Hilda Louisa Borresen (nee Isaksen) and her father Johan Bernharth Borresen (Sailor). Both women migrated to Australia, but I think the father may have died prior to them coming out here. That is the only information that I can get. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've only searched in the emigration registers from the port of Oslo/Christiania since you mentioned "Christiana". It would be very helpful to know when the women first appeared in Australia - see if you can narrow that down and post it here.

Meanwhile, these is a 'possible' with data variances.

Many thanks, I will see what I can find out. I don't know if both the women came out or only the child. Leigh
