My grandfather, Andrei Nemelowsky, sailed on the SS Sicilian from Glasgow to Halifax in 1907. I have located the information from Canadian archives. However, the manifest does not give much information. I would like to know what the route and means of transportation and most likely port he would have taken from Russia to get to Glasgow. Can anyone offer suggestions or steer me to sources?
