Anybody have information on Steindalen?
My grandfather (Kristian J. Stein) is from there and I'm looking for my relatives.

I guess it will depend on what part of the country we are talking about. I am quite sure you will find the name "Steindalen" several places.
You might start by going to www.kvasir.no (a local search engine) and search for Steindalen. At least it should give you a starting point(provided you can read a little Norwegian).
