My grandfather, Ole Utheim, came over here from Norway but I have no clue when. It had to be sometime before 1925.

He was born 28 Mar 1891.

My dad says Ole was from Kristiansund.

In one census I found, his name was recorded as Ole Hilmar Olssen Utheim. My dad also said that he thought Ole changed his last name from Olssen to Utheim.

I would really like to find more information on Ole Utheim or his parents but I cannot find anything. If you could help in anyway, I would appreciate it so much!

Which censuses did you find him in? Where? Did you check the census(es) carefully to see if they recorded year of immigration? Did he become a naturalized citizen? Have you searched for those papers?

1900 Norwegian census - in Kornstad district not too far from the city/port of Kristiansund (More og Romsdal) --
